Ruby on Rails - Senior Software Engineer
Responsibilities:
1. Design and deliver scalable, testable RoR code using Agile/scrum development environment.
2. Develop and scale backend APIs using RoR
3. Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization
4. Assist in estimation of sprint work along with other team members.
5. Work collaboratively with other team members on stories as needed, team player.
Skills/ Experience
1. 5+ years of experience developing RoR based web applications who can navigate large code bases with confidence.
2. Strong experience and coding skills with RoR framework along with other common libraries such as RSpec and Resque.
3. Experience working with one or more database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
4. Experience developing in Agile/Scrum/GIT Development environment.
5. Experience managing multiple projects and the ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
6. Has knowledge of Unit, Integration, and Performance testing.
7. Exposure to at least one or more front-end technologies like React and/or Angular.
8. Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
