WHAT THIS ROLE WILL BE DOING:

Summary: Responsible for preparing, slitting, labeling, and managing foil rolls to support production. Ensures material accuracy, quality, inventory control, and safe machine operation.

Key Duties

• Review daily slitting schedule and prepare foils accordingly
• Check existing stock before slitting; follow FIFO rules
• Operate and monitor the slitting machine safely at all times
• Dyne test all new rolls and maintain correct tension during slitting
• Limit each roll to a maximum of three slits and label rolls accurately
• Ensure correct patterns, grain consistency, and color separation
• Identify, label, and report defective or re-rolled foils
• Communicate material availability and issues with the Machine Team Leader
• Maintain foil inventory counts and update tracking documentation
• Work with Machine Operators to reduce waste and use materials efficiently
• Keep the Slitting Station clean, organized, and audit-ready
• Assist Machine or Shipping Departments when available

• Must be willing to work second shift.  (Second shift includes a $2.00 shift differential)
