    JOB TITLE:                                     Maintenance Interior Lead

    DEPARTMENT NAME:                   Maintenance

    REPORTS TO:                                Maintenance Supervisor

    SALARY:                                         $21.00

    POSITION STATUS:                       Regular Full-Time, FLSA NON-EXEMPT

    HOURS PER WEEK:                      40

    POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

    Under the direction of the facilities maintenance, the Supervisor directs and supervises subordinate personnel in the maintenance and repair of the building; the job is one of a working lead. Directs the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, physical structures, and plumbing systems of the establishment. Responsible for safety policy implementation and enforcement. Performs other duties as assigned.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

    Must be knowledgeable with specific repair and maintenance of automotive equipment, plumbing, tile, millwork, metal fabricating, and general building repairs. Under the direction of the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, orders necessary supplies to accomplish specific repairs of machinery and equipment.

    Under the direction of the maintenance Supervisor, trains new employees in the department as required.

    Be alert of any conditions that expose WCR’s and other FM Enterprises’ assets or employees to hazardous conditions and document said conditions.

    Must possess a current, valid Arizona driver’s license and can legally and safely operate a motorized vehicle.

    Ability to exercise sound judgment and to make logical decisions in situations requiring guidance and leadership.

    Able to interact effectively and assist members of the public, FM Enterprise employees, and management.

    Able and willing to work any shift and hours as assigned by the Maintenance Department or Casino management or as necessitated by special circumstances.

    Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds and push or pull 100.

    Must be able to obtain and maintain State/Tribal License (including extensive background check).

    Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:

    • Hear, reach, see, and walk for 67-100% of the workday.
    • Eye/hand coordination for 67-100% of the workday.
    • Exposure to dust/smoke for 67-100% of the workday.
    • Stand for 80-90% of the workday.
    • Bend and twist for 1-33% of the workday.
    • While working on the casino floor, the employee is exposed to high levels of noise daily.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

    High school diploma or GED required.

    Must have a valid Arizona driver's license and be cleared by the gaming center's insurance carrier to drive company vehicles.

    INDIAN PREFERENCE:

    Preference will be given to qualified applicants who are members of federally recognized Indian tribes.  To be considered for Indian Preference, you must submit your Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB) with your application.
