The successful candidate will ensure compliance with industry standards, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to product quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on advanced electronic product development while gaining exposure to prototype validation, product lifecycle management, manufacturing support, and global engineering projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Design and develop electrical systems, including PCB layouts, analog and digital circuits, sensors, and electronic components.
    • Develop and validate prototype circuits through design, build, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
    • Ensure all designs comply with applicable regulatory and industry standards, including IPC and IEC.
    • Prepare and maintain PCB documentation, engineering records, and product sign-offs using PLM systems such as Windchill.
    • Research and evaluate electronic component replacements to support obsolescence management.
    • Develop factory acceptance test (FAT) procedures for internal and customer requirements.
    • Support manufacturing by transitioning prototypes into production and resolving technical issues.
    • Assist Repair & Maintenance (R&M) teams with troubleshooting and sustaining engineering activities.
    • Coordinate equipment and material requirements to ensure timely project execution.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver projects within schedule and quality objectives.
    • Provide post-project technical support, including remote and onsite troubleshooting when required.
    • Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, environmental, and engineering standards.

    Skills

    • Strong expertise in analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, and PCB development.
    • Proficiency with Altium, PADS, and Microsoft Visio.
    • Experience with PCB documentation and Windchill PLM or similar product lifecycle management systems.
    • Knowledge of IPC, IEC, EMI/EMC standards and electronic design best practices.
    • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and laboratory testing skills.
    • Experience with prototype development, validation, and manufacturing support.
    • Understanding of electronic component sourcing and obsolescence management.
    • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related technical field.
    • 7+ years of experience in electronic product design and development.
    • Hands-on experience in PCB design, analog/digital circuits, power electronics, and prototype testing.
    • Familiarity with factory acceptance testing and engineering documentation.
    • Experience supporting manufacturing, sustaining engineering, and technical issue resolution.
    • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 10%) as required.
