R&M Supervisor

Job Overview

The R&M - Supervisor is responsible for driving the implementation and execution of Weatherford's Repair & Maintenance strategy for service assets and tooling. The role focuses on standardizing repair and maintenance processes, optimizing inventory and asset utilization, improving operational efficiency, and implementing cost-effective repair solutions across global operations. The position collaborates extensively with Operations, Engineering, Asset Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Manufacturing teams to support a unified global delivery model and maximize asset utilization, quality, and service performance.

Key Responsibilities:- 

• Lead the implementation and execution of Weatherford's global Repair & Maintenance strategy across multiple locations.

• Assess and evaluate existing R&M processes and identify opportunities to standardize and harmonize practices globally.

• Drive LEAN initiatives and continuous improvement programs to enhance operational efficiency and reduce fulfillment costs.

• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Line teams to introduce modern repair technologies and best practices.

• Ensure effective planning, scheduling, and deployment of repair and maintenance resources.

• Partner with Asset Management teams to optimize tool utilization and support revenue generation.

• Collaborate with Logistics teams to ensure efficient movement and deployment of assets to operational sites.

• Work closely with Supply Chain to establish and maintain effective vendor networks supporting R&M activities.

• Drive inventory optimization, spare parts planning, and asset management strategies.

• Monitor and control operational costs, repair expenses, and inventory investments.

• Ensure compliance with company Quality Management Systems (QMS), HSE requirements, and corporate governance standards.

• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to applicable safety, security, environmental, and compliance requirements.

• Establish and maintain effective systems, processes, controls, and performance metrics across R&M operations.

• Communicate and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders across Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Planning, Engineering, and Asset Management functions.

• Support global operational strategies through effective stakeholder management and change leadership.

• Drive workforce capability development, succession planning, coaching, and multi-skilling initiatives.

• Partner with Manufacturing and HR teams to identify opportunities for workforce development and talent retention.

• Lead organizational change initiatives and support business transformation programs within the R&M function.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Repair & Maintenance operations within the Oil & Gas services industry.

• Proven experience leading operational standardization, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Strong understanding of asset management, inventory planning, spare parts control, and utilization optimization.

• Experience implementing LEAN methodologies and operational excellence programs.

• Strong financial acumen with experience managing repair costs, operational budgets, and inventory investments.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to influence and drive change across multiple functions and geographies.

• Strong understanding of operational planning, resource allocation, and workforce management.

• Experience collaborating across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, and Asset Management functions.

• Ability to successfully operate within a matrix management environment.

• Demonstrated resilience, adaptability, and problem-solving capability.

• Strong knowledge of Quality, HSE, Compliance, and Corporate Governance requirements.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and business reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Oilfield Services, Business, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 10+ years of operational, functional, country management exp, leadership and people management experience.

• Proven experience within Oil & Gas equipment repair and maintenance operations.

• Experience managing workshop, maintenance, asset management, or operational support functions.

• Prior experience working with global, multi-location operations is preferred.

• Exposure to organizations such as Weatherford, SLB (Schlumberger), Baker Hughes, Halliburton, Sperry, or similar Oilfield Services companies is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated experience driving process harmonization, operational transformation, and organizational change.

• Strong track record of leading large teams and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.

• Willingness to travel occasionally as required to support global operations and strategic initiatives.
