    Job description

    Job Overview
    We are seeking a hands-on Sr. Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of production equipment, facility systems, and plant utilities. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. The position requires strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electromechanical systems within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment, production machinery, facility systems, and utilities.
    • Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electromechanical equipment.
    • Conduct routine equipment inspections and condition monitoring activities to identify potential failures and improve equipment reliability.
    • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production interruptions to minimize downtime.
    • Install, replace, and adjust machine components including motors, pumps, valves, bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
    • Support installation, commissioning, startup, and relocation of manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
    • Perform maintenance and basic troubleshooting of PLC-controlled equipment, automated systems, CNC machines, and production machinery.
    • Develop maintenance plans and maintain facility infrastructure including HVAC systems, compressed air systems, cranes, lighting systems, and power distribution equipment.
    • Complete maintenance work orders, inspection reports, equipment history logs, and maintenance records accurately within CMMS systems.
    • Follow approved maintenance procedures, engineering drawings, equipment manuals, and safety guidelines.
    • Support API Q1 and Quality Management System requirements by ensuring maintenance activities are properly documented.
    • Participate in equipment failure investigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities.
    • Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend improvement opportunities to increase reliability and performance.
    • Ensure maintenance tools, test equipment, spare parts, and materials are properly utilized, stored, and maintained.
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with 5S and HSE requirements.
    • Comply with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Permit to Work (PTW), confined space entry, working at heights, and electrical safety procedures.
    • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams to support manufacturing objectives.
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing downtime and improving manufacturing efficiency.

    Qualifications
    • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
    • 4-6 years of hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial, oil & gas, heavy engineering, or similar production environments.
    • Experience performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
    • Strong troubleshooting experience across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electromechanical systems.
    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, equipment manuals, and maintenance procedures.
    • Experience with PLC-controlled equipment, CNC machines, automated manufacturing systems, and production machinery preferred.
    • Experience working within API Q1, ISO 9001, or similar Quality Management System environments preferred.
    • Technical certification in Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, or a related trade is advantageous.
    • Experience in Oil & Gas equipment manufacturing, machining, assembly, pressure testing, or related industrial operations preferred.
    • Basic knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Lean Manufacturing, Reliability Improvement, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
