Facilities Maintenance Technician
WeatherTech Direct is seeking a well-qualified Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain efficient and smooth operation of job sites and projects.

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will
- Ensure equipment is in proper working order, clean, and ready for use
- Maintain cleanliness in physical space to promote a functional environment
- Receive, manage, and process work order requests and ensure problems are resolved quickly
- Act as a liaison between employees and outside contractors to resolve any concerns or conflicts
- Draft and implement preventative maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment
- Perform sewer line rodding and maintenance, including working with active sanitary systems
- Ensure safety standards are followed and met
- Participate in emergency preparedness planning
- Coordinate with the local Fire Marshall to ensure proper operation of alarm systems
- Coordinate inspections such as those with fire extinguishers, elevators, etc.
- Maintain building safety features including but not limited to sprinkler systems, alarms, access pads, etc.
- Maintain and correct any issues with plumbing systems throughout various company buildings
- Maintain inventory of supplies and reorders as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Perform snow removal from sidewalks, parking lots, and facility grounds.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in using a mobile device and email service
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Must have high attention to detail
- Effective decision making and problem-solving skills
- Must have a strong work ethic with both the ability to work independently and also collaboratively as part of a team
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude
- Must be able to read, write, and understand verbal and written work orders/instructions in English
- Be authorized to work in the United States
