About this role
Are you passionate about finance, operations, and technology in the dynamic world of artificial intelligence? Here's your chance to make a significant impact as we seek a talented working student to join our growing team. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a Working Student Finance to assist with our day-to-day financial operations while taking the initiative to automate and optimize processes using modern AI tools.
What you'll be doing
Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable (invoices).
Managing and actively following up on queries in the central finance inbox.
Executing operational tasks and controls within expense management systems such as Pleo and Ramp.
Proactively identifying opportunities and advising on automating and optimizing financial operations using AI tools.
Supporting the finance team with various day-to-day operational and administrative tasks.
What we are looking for
Available for 16 hours per week, with flexible hours (preferably set at fixed moments).
Currently pursuing at least a Bachelor's degree (e.g., in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field).
At least 1 year of accounting experience (such as processing bank transactions and accounts payable/receivable).
Someone with advanced proficiency in Dutch, capable of working with Dutch accounting and banking systems.
Hands-on knowledge and experience with various AI tools, such as Gemini, Claude, Copilot, and ChatGPT, to enhance productivity and process efficiency.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, self-starter mindset suitable for an international, remote-first environment.
Eager to learn and excited to contribute to the growth and continuous improvement of Weaviate's finance function.
