What is the role?

Working within a remote team of nurses you will be providing a confidential and empathetic telemedicine consultation service for our customers providing advice on health queries or concerns over a 24/7 service and working with the Webdoctor team to look after the thousands of patients who use our service every week.

This is a part-time position of 32 hours per week (four eight-hour shifts), starting immediately. Flexibility is required to cover morning, evening, and night shifts.

Reporting to:

Nurse Manager 

Key responsibilities:

• Providing our customers with health related advice and information via telephone and email in an informed and empathetic manner.
• Build good relationships with customers by developing rapport, communicating clearly and accurately, using active listening and showing the ability to empathise.
• Maintaining clear accurate records on the platform after each point of customer contact.
• Communicating and sharing information with the Nursing team and wider medical group.
• Supporting the Doctor and Practice Manager teams at Webdoctor. 

Ideal candidate:

• NMBI registered with 5+ years experience, with Previous Triage experience in a Clinical setting or Emergency Department.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English
• Have excellent computer skills and attention to detail.
• Be willing to undergo Garda Vetting
• Have exceptional organisational and time management skills.
• Demonstrate knowledge/experience of health education/promotion.
