Inside Sales Representative

Wedgewood is seeking a full time Inside Sales Representative. The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for generating sales, market share and profitability for Wedgewood — both compounding and Blue Rabbit — within a specific Book of Business. This may include general-practice accounts or specialty/strategic hospital accounts.

Location / Schedule:

Remote; candidates must live within commuting distance of our Swedesboro, NJ office and be able to attend occasional in-person meetings as needed. Monday–Friday, either 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. ET or 10:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m. ET.

What you’ll do:

Sales Execution & Performance

• Implement and execute effective sales strategies to place Wedgewood’s compounding products and Blue Rabbit’s technology in clinics within the Book of Business, growing sales and customer base.
• Develop an in-depth knowledge base of assigned clinics — products stocked, business objectives, decision-making process, key staff and technology footprint.
• Use effective selling and account management skills to move customers to Wedgewood/Blue Rabbit.
• Maintain the daily dial activity and account-level Reach, Frequency and Qualified Contact standards defined in the Inside Sales Representative Role, Performance & Activity Standards policy.

Business Management

• Create a business plan for the Book of Business identifying the best strategic path to gain sales growth across compounding and Blue Rabbit.
• Execute the business plan and complete objectives, including achieving sales targets while operating within a specified expense budget.
• Use CRM and sales tools to create pre-call plans, maintain customer engagement information and retain clinic records.

Product Knowledge

• Maintain and utilize Wedgewood and competitive product and technical knowledge.
• Execute Wedgewood and Blue Rabbit brand and portfolio strategies to drive sales.
• Use designated marketing and sales tools to ensure consistent sales and marketing messaging.

Opportunity Management

• Analyze available data — sales, market share and competitive intelligence — to identify the best growth opportunities.
• Prioritize clinics to pursue the highest-growth opportunities and gain product placements.
• Maintain an accurate, documented pipeline of opportunities within the business plan.

Competitive, Market & Industry Knowledge

• Develop market, customer and industry knowledge.
• Monitor market conditions for changes that impact Wedgewood’s business.
• Continuously gather knowledge of competitors and how to position Wedgewood’s solutions against them.

Who you are

• Aptitude and desire to sell and gain market share; comfortable with a high-volume, daily outbound calling cadence.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills (verbal and written).

• Strong learning agility.

What you’ve done:

• High School Diploma required. Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree preferred

• 1-2 years of lead generation/sales experience; inside sales experience preferred

• Demonstrated experience in relationship development, opportunity identification and pipeline tracking and building.

• Experience in relationship development, opportunity identification and pipeline tracking.

• Knowledge of animal health/veterinary clinic industry experience preferred

• Compensation Range: The base pay range for this position is $60,000-$80,000 annually + a quarterly bonus incentive (commensurate with the individual's experience and qualifications).
