As Assortment Manager, you can expect to have a significant impact on shaping the business and Weezy’s offering. Reporting to the COO, you will:
- Become a leader in category ranging, pricing and promotions across all customer channels
- Research, select, negotiate and purchase quality products and materials
- Update inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels
- Develop and manage a portfolio of wholesalers, FMCG brands and other suppliers
- Provide your partners with customer focussed insights regarding their category
- Develop strong working relationships with operations, engineering, marketing and finance
- Together with the founders, create and develop a long term plan and strategy for growing the assortment management function

- Previous experience in category management, buying/procurement and/or portfolio management or another multi-functional highly analytic role
- Ability to analyse and draw accurate conclusions to support category decisions based on key data
- Strong people skills and the ability to manage and influence at all levels
- Obsession with execution: getting things done and generating immediate impact gives you kicks
- Comfortable with ambiguity, short deadlines and changing priorities
- Proven success in operating role in a fast-moving environment
- Strong initiative and entrepreneurial drive
- Rage for winning and delivering success
- Strong leadership attitude and mindset to inspire and collaborate with others, both in your function as cross-functional with operations, engineering, marketing and finance
- Previous experience and knowledge of a retail environment is a plus
