Job Description:
The Carpenters Training Center is looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Drywall and Metal Framing Installation Instructor to join our team on a part-time basis. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide hands-on training to members in the installation of Framing and Drywall, utilizing the correct tools, techniques, and materials. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the field, with the ability to guide members through the full process of installation, preparation, and maintenance.
This position requires strong communication skills, a dedication to safety and quality, and a passion for educating the next generation of members.
Job Responsibilities:
· Design and implement instructional programs on framing and drywall installation, including understanding blueprints, layout and industry best practices. · Provide hands-on demonstrations and training in preparation, material selection, installation techniques, and finishing processes. · Assess member progress, providing individualized feedback and support to foster growth and skill development. · Remain current on industry advancements, tools, techniques, and trends related to framing and drywall installation. · . · Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment, adhering to all safety and quality standards. · Communicate effectively with members, fostering engagement and motivation in the learning process.
