Wellnow, the corporate health and wellbeing service provider founded in 2015, has set itself the goal of sustainably improving the well-being and health of employees. Wellnow combines expertise in workplace health programs, employer branding and wellbeing with a 360 ° approach that can be integrated into individual company processes. Massages and on-site services such as yoga or fitness can be integrated into the daily work routine and provide access to health services and self-optimization on-demand. More than being a manual agency, Wellnow uses tech to facilitate and efficiently integrate its service into each company's health management without causing additional work.

On our way to be the go-to corporate health and wellbeing platform, we are looking for a full stack Javascript Engineer (gender neutral) that can technically manage and develop our products in order to deliver the best service.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop new features aligned to our IT Roadmap (from ticket to deployment)

• Make sure all deployed products work smoothly and reliable

• Enable the business to scale in a sustainable way

• Develop and grow the tech function with Wellnow in your newly created role

• Manage our AWS infrastructure

• Work with our product management in an agile environment and bring in your experience to set us up for success

Anforderungen

Our setup:

• Therapist/Partner App in React Native with typescript

• Internal Booking Management Interface implemented in React with typescript, GraphQL API in node.js

• Docker-based deployment and orchestration suitable for a polyglot environment with the Hashicorp suite and HAproxy

• Serverless functions (mostly Lambda) built with Node.js and Python

• Additionally we also work with some Scala Services

• Databases we use:  MongoDB,  SQL

A skillset we would like to see in any combination:

Required technical skillset:

• Experience in backend (node.js) and frontend (React)

• Ideally you also have some experience with Scala (is a plus)

• Experience with GraphQL (ideally backend and frontend)

• Decent knowledge about most prominent cloud infrastructure provider – AWS, Google, etc.

• 2+ years experience with dockerized service orchestration - preferably Hashicorp products like Nomad, Consul, etc. – Kubernetes is fine as well

• Experienced in managing and controlling CI/CD driven environment

• You have worked with several types of relational and non-r databases like: Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis as a Cache, etc.

• Proficient about different testing types like: unit, integration or contract testing

• experience with a mainstream Linux distribution

Required managerial skillset:

• Enabler for the founders: Alex & Enno regarding technical challenges as well our product management

• Proficient working in an agile way – Kanban, Scrum

• Solution-focused thinking

• Align technical requirements with business and legal requirements

• Familiar with cultural and working-ethic related topics like 20% principle of Google, time-boxes, etc.

Required tech-business skillset:

• Infrastructure and architecture planning regarding maintenance level, cost allocation, technical debt, service maturing, etc.

• You are familiar with the different business necessities like: data-warehousing, analytics, logging/ monitoring, authorization & authentication layers, etc.
