    Full-time Interventional Special Procedures Tech
    Mon-Fri 4-10's (7a-5:30p)
    Call is 5-6 days/month + 1 Wknd (Able to schedule your own call)

    A Brief Overview
    Functions under the direction of the clinical coordinator and/or department manager. The interventional special procedures technologist assists with providing safe, age appropriate care to the patient by performing all exams provided by the department according to department procedures. The technologist has the knowledge and ability to properly and safely obtain a quality diagnostic study. He/she is responsible for performing a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in the utilization of the equipment for the diagnosis and/or treatment of diseases. The technologist is able to independently perform job functions. He/she sets up the equipment to provide imaging service and positions patient for the procedure. Able to perform procedures in both the IR and vascular hybrid interventional procedural setting.
    Qualifications
    • High School Diploma / GED General Required and(
    • Accredited Program Radiologic Technology Required or)
    • 1 year of experience Preferred
    • ARRT-R - ARRT Radiography
    • CVRN-LVL 3 - CV (Cath Lab/Int IF RCIS-Cert)
    • RCIS - Registered CVI Specialist
    • BLS - Basic Life Support
    • BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
    • ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support
