Part Time Senior Companion (Alzheimer's Experience Preferred) – Perrysburg, OH

A welcoming family in Perrysburg, OH is seeking an attentive, compassionate part-time senior companion to assist an aging loved one living with Alzheimer's disease.

Schedule:
● Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
● 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
● 12 hours per week

Family Specifications:
● Smoke-free home environment
● Pet-free household
● Values engaging activities, social interaction, and safe outdoor outings with limited walking
● Family values creativity, cooking, and light crafting companionship

Responsibilities:
● Companionship and memory support, including gentle Alzheimer's redirection and conversation
● Personal hygiene assistance
● Light meal support, including meal prep or cooking
● Facilitating light hobbies and activities such as crafts and outdoor time with limited walking
● Basic household light assistance and tidying related to care
● Medication reminders and assistance with medical needs tracking

Requirements:
● Proven experience supporting seniors, with specific experience managing memory care needs
● Ability to assist with light mobility, transfers, and safe outdoor accompaniment
Preferred:
● Alzheimer's and dementia care experience
● Shared interest in crafts, light cooking, and outdoor activities
Compensation:
● $25–$28 per hour
