    Visiting Assistant Professor, Civil Engineering, Surveying/Geomatics

    Wentworth Institute of Technology is seeking applicants who are interested in joining the Wentworth community for on a per semester basis:

    • Surveying/Geomatics in Fall 2026

    This will be a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor in the Douglas D. Schumann School of Engineering in Fall 2026, with an opportunity to apply for a full-time Assistant Professor position for Fall 2027.

    The standard load for the position is 16 credit hours per semester for the Fall 2026 semester. Extension into the spring semester, based on coursework availability and needs will be considered, alongside evaluation of performance and potential interest.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

    Position Details:

    It is expected that the salary range for this position is between $34,000 and $38,000 for one semester.

    The specific pay for this position will be determined by the University based on consideration of all relevant factors when and if it decides to extend an offer of employment.  The position does not include a comprehensive benefits package.

    Please be aware that any final offer for this position is contingent on the applicant providing valid I-9 documentation, showing work authorization and identity.
