We are seeking full-time Certified Nurse’s Aides to join our Tidewater Cove/Assisted Living Facility (ALF) program in Suffolk, VA.
Responsibilities &Duties for Certified Nurse Aide:
- Provide direct consumer care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and assistance with daily living activities.
- Document progress, activities, tasks performed, and consumer responses.
- Report any changes in consumer condition to the RN and Program Supervisor.
- Serve as a role model, provide guidance, and assist with medication management under the supervision of the RN or LPN.
- Comply with agency policies and procedures and adhere to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
- Transport consumers as needed
Qualifications and Skills for Certified Nursing Assistant:
- Licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- 1 year of nursing experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable DMV record
- Long-term care experience preferred
- Proficient in using electronic medical records
- Basic knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare regulations preferred
