Cashier

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for an enthusiastic cashier/server who will provide a critical role in delivering an exceptional service to our residents and guests.  

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITY:

· Assist in preparation and service of meals.

· Must adhere to dining service cash and key handling standards.

· Follow opening and closing procedures.

· Maintain full and appealing retail stock.

· Keep the dining room cleanliness.

· Take customer order via POS system.

· Deliver food and beverages to customer tables.

· Occasionally deliver food to resident apartments.

· Clear tables in accordance with company standards.

· Ensure timely and efficient meal service for all.

· Effectively and accurately use POS system to take resident orders and handle cash, card, or dining dollar transactions in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner.

· Assist in setting buffet, plating of meals, and serving meals.

•       Wash and store dishes.

· Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies.

· Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 

• Food Handlers certification.

PHYSICAL DEMAND:

• Safely lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Stand for 8 or more hours a day.
• Able to lift and carry trays of food and beverages safely
