Earn above-award casual rates of $40.67 p/hour Monday to Friday, $48.80 on Saturdays and $56.94 on Sundays while building experience with one of the Huner region’s largest hospitality employers.

Join the catering team at Wests Mayfield and work across our Bistro and Texas Grill Restaurant. This opportunity suits a qualified Chef or experienced Cook seeking casual work in a professional kitchen with modern facilities, free onsite parking and the opportunity to be considered for permanent roles across The Wests Group.

Above-award casual pay rates 

• Monday to Friday: $40.67 per hour
• Saturday: $48.80 per hour
• Sunday: $56.94 per hour

The opportunity 
Working across lunch and dinner service, you will help deliver consistent, quality food for members and guests. Casual shifts may include nights, weekends and split shifts.

• Prepare and present high-quality meals during service.
• Complete food preparation, production and storage tasks.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and presentation standards.
• Support different kitchen sections during busy services.
• Set up and close service areas efficiently.
• Contribute to a clean, organised and safe kitchen.

What you will bring 

• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery, or equivalent qualification.
• Commercial kitchen experience and sound food preparation skills.
• Availability for lunch and dinner service, including nights and weekends.
• A reliable and flexible approach to casual shifts and split shifts.
• A commitment to food safety, consistency and teamwork.
