The Transmission Engineering Intern will join a dynamic electric powerline design team, applying relevant coursework and experience to the engineering and design of multiple power projects. Projects range from small, quick-turnaround assignments to large, complex transmission line designs for public and private electric utilities, wind and solar developers, and government agencies. This position offers a direct opportunity to apply engineering knowledge to real-world energy infrastructure projects.
As a T&D Engineering Intern, the selected candidate will learn to apply industry standards - including ACI, IBC, NESC, and ASCE - in the engineering design process and will assist Senior Engineers in the preparation of engineering analyses, plans and specifications, and material procurement and construction documents.
