Heavy equipment operator-Track Loader

We are seeking a skilled Track Loader Operator to join our underground construction team in Edmonton, Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a track loader to support excavation, backfilling, material handling, and site preparation activities in underground utility and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a track loader to move, load, and spread earth, rock, gravel, and other materials.
• Assist with trenching, backfilling, and grading for underground utilities and structures.
• Support crews in underground construction projects, including water, sewer, and storm systems.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure safe operation.
• Work collaboratively with ground crews, foremen, and other operators to complete tasks efficiently.
• Follow all site safety protocols, OH&S regulations, and company policies.
• Adapt to changing jobsite conditions and assist with additional tasks as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid equipment operator certification and/or proven experience operating a track loader.
• Previous experience in underground or heavy civil construction preferred.
• Knowledge of underground utility installation practices considered an asset.
• Ability to work in variable weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to maintaining a safe worksite.
• Reliable transportation to various job sites across Alberta.
