Receive, inspect, and book in incoming materials and components.
Pick and kit materials for production orders.
Conduct stock movements and inventory transactions using the company's ERP system.
Perform regular stock counts and cycle counting activities.
Ensure correct storage and handling of production materials and parts.
Prepare products for shipment, ensuring packaging meets customer and regulatory requirements.
Process and coordinate outbound shipping consignments in accordance with customer requirements.
Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
Component cleaning and inspection
Support with Production activities as required by the business need and forecasted production demand. E.g. Connector polishing, ultrasonic cleaning, fibre cleaving, splicing and loss measurements, set/adjust specialist Optical Fibre processing equipment, operating pressurised test equipment under supervision, and mechanical / electrical assembly
Calibrating and maintaining equipment
Support continuous improvement activities within the manufacturing area
Maintain material traceability and product identification throughout the production process and documentation.
Report non-conformances, defects, or process issues promptly.
