The Paid Social team manages campaigns across Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, and emerging social platforms. You’ll help fuel customer growth and sales through data-driven media strategies across a dynamic multi-brand portfolio.

    About the Role

As an Analyst, Performance Marketing – Paid Social, you’ll support and optimize paid social advertising campaigns across multiple WSI brands. You’ll gain hands-on experience working within major social platforms and related advertising tools while helping scale full-funnel campaigns across a variety of ad formats and objectives.

This is an opportunity to build expertise in digital media, campaign strategy, analytics, creative testing, and platform optimization within a fast-paced in-house environment. You’ll work closely with a Senior Analyst to help develop tactical strategy for each brand while partnering with cross-functional teams to test and execute campaigns that drive revenue and improve return on ad spend.

Candidates should have experience working in paid social advertising and familiarity with major social advertising platforms. Experience working with direct response advertisers preferred.

    Responsibilities

    • Set up, manage, and optimize paid social campaigns across Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, and emerging social platforms while meeting or exceeding performance goals
    • Create tactical media plans using first- and third-party data to support campaign execution and business objectives
    • Partner closely with brand teams to align campaigns with seasonal priorities and broader business objectives
    • Proactively monitor campaign pacing and performance, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of budget while maintaining campaign efficiency
    • Track, analyze, and communicate campaign performance, optimization decisions, and tactical recommendations to cross-functional business partners
    • Troubleshoot campaign setup, tracking, pixel implementation, and platform-related issues as needed
    • Monitor platform trends, product updates, and emerging ad formats to identify new opportunities and improve campaign performance
    • Support ongoing test and learn initiatives, with a focus on improving campaign efficiency and incremental performance
    • Own select tests independently while partnering closely with Senior Analysts and Marketing Analytics teams on larger-scale experiments
    • Serve as a resource for creative best practices across paid social platforms, partnering with cross-functional teams to improve creative output and maximize campaign effectiveness
    • Assist internal organic social partners with account setup, access issues, and vendor integrations across social platforms

    Criteria

    • 1+ years of experience in paid social advertising, campaign management, or related digital media experience
    • Familiarity with paid social platforms including Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, or related advertising technologies
    • Experience with audience targeting, campaign optimization, reporting, and platform analytics
    • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to synthesize technical detail and communicate to all levels of the organization
    • Intellectual curiosity, entrepreneurial spirit, and drive to innovate
    • Comfort working in an adaptive, fast-paced environment
    • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, etc.)
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
    • This role requires being onsite in the Davis office Monday through Thursday
