Wage
- $22/hour+ based on experience
💪 What You'll Do
As a Fitness Specialist, you'll play a vital role in promoting health and wellness throughout our community by:
- Assisting Team Leaders with the development, promotion, and implementation of fitness classes, wellness workshops, and special events for Residents and Team Members
- Instructing exercise classes, aquatics classes, and educational workshops
- Staying current on the latest trends and best practices in the fitness industry
- Conducting fitness and health-related screenings
- Developing individualized exercise plans
- Assisting with the care and maintenance of pools and fitness centers
- Ensuring fitness, aquatics, and satellite centers remain neat, clean, and safe
- Completing bi-monthly maintenance checks of satellite fitness centers throughout the community
- Serving as a lifeguard when needed
- Performing other duties as assigned!
Qualifications
We're looking for candidates who have:
- A Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Lifeguard and CPR certifications
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Excellent customer service skills!
Hours
- Full-Time: 36-40 hours per week
Schedule
- Tuesday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Saturday 7:30 AM-2:30 PM
