Compensation
$16.00 – $19.00/hour, based on experience
What You’ll Do
As a Resident Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our Residents feel safe, supported, and valued. Responsibilities include:
- Responding promptly to call bells and intercom systems to meet resident needs
- Assisting Residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Supporting mobility by transporting Residents or assisting with walking
- Recording vital signs and care information in PointClickCare (PCC)
- Administering, reordering, and monitoring medication as needed
- Collecting specimens as directed by nursing staff
- Assisting with scheduling appointments and coordinating transportation
- Maintaining cleanliness in Resident rooms and shared spaces while following infection control standards
- Communicating effectively during shift changes to ensure continuity of care
- Observing and reporting any changes in Resident condition, including skin, medical, or behavioral concerns
- Engaging Residents in Therapeutic Engagement opportunities, including Linked Senior
- Supporting and mentoring new Nursing Assistants and Resident Care Assistants
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Care experience is preferred!
- Strong customer service skills and a passion for helping others
Schedule & Hours
- Part-Time: 8-24 hours/week
- Full-Time: 36–40 hours per week
- Day and Evening shifts available
- Includes every other weekend and every other holiday
