Job Overview:
We are currently looking for a motivated Junior Manual QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team and help ensure the delivery of reliable, high-performing software.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications/skills:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in software quality assurance or testing
- University Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Basic understanding of QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Familiarity with web and/or mobile application testing
- Experience working with bug tracking tools (like Jira)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Good communication skills in English
The successful candidate will be accountable for:
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on requirements and user stories
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure product quality
- Report bugs clearly and track them through resolution
- Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and tools
- Ensure software applications meet functional and non-functional requirements
Nice to have:
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development processes
- Background in the financial sector is considered a strong asset
- Knowledge of APIs and API testing is a plus
- Knowledge of SQL queries is considered an advantage
- Any relevant QA/testing certification is a plus
