ABOUT THIS LOCATION This position is located at the Embassy Suites in Arcadia, CA . A city nestled by the San Gabriel Mountains, known for it’s blend of suburban charm and natural beauty.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Present the menu to guests, answer questions, and make knowledgeable suggestions regarding food and service.
- Write or memorize guest orders accurately.
- Relay orders to the kitchen and service bar; serve courses and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Observe guests throughout the dining experience to fulfill additional requests and identify when the meal has been completed.
- Total the bill and accept payment or direct guests to the cashier.
- Assist with food service tasks as needed, including ladling soup, tossing salads, portioning pies and desserts, and brewing coffee.
- Clear and reset counters or tables at the conclusion of each course as needed.
- Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly fashion throughout the shift.
- SKILLS & ABILITIES YOU BRING Physical ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift including lifting, bending, stooping, walking, pushing, and pulling; able to stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to pitch in and help co-workers across tasks as needed — true team-player mindset.
- Ability to communicate with diverse guests to understand their needs and provide attentive, personalized service.
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions from supervisors accurately and promptly.
- Attentive and guest-focused service skills; able to anticipate needs and respond proactively.
- Basic math skills to total bills and process payments accurately.
- SCHEDULE & HOURS This position is Part Time, with schedules that may vary based on business need.
- Flexibility to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, may be required.
