SharePoint/.NET Application Support Developer is responsible for application development, enhancement, maintenance, and production support of SharePoint and Microsoft technology solutions. The role delivers application changes, resolves incidents, fulfils service requests, supports change implementation, and contributes to continuous improvement while meeting quality and SLA commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and support SharePoint, ASP.NET Core, an open-source web development framework | .NET, ASP, SQL Server, and SQL-based applications.
Implement application enhancements, defect fixes, configuration changes, and technical improvements.
Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, peer review support, and deployment activities.
Troubleshoot production incidents and complete diagnosis, resolution, recovery, closure, and documentation.
Fulfil service requests related to application functionality, configuration, user support, access, and data needs
Support change requests through impact analysis, development, testing, implementation, and post-deployment validation.
Contribute to problem requests by identifying root causes and implementing permanent corrective fixes.
Maintain technical documents, support procedures, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
Collaborate with business users, senior developers, infrastructure, QA, security, and support teams.
Follow coding, security, release, service-management, and SLA processes.
Required Skills:
3-6 years in application development, maintenance, and support.
Hands-on experience in SharePoint and Microsoft technologies.
Life Insurance domain knowledge is preferred.
Technical: SharePoint Online/Server; ASP.NET Core, an open-source web development framework | .NET; ASP; SQL Server; SQL; debugging; testing; performance basics.
Service Management: Incident, service request, change request, problem request, deployment, RCA, SLA, and knowledge management.
