Equity Advisory Analyst (2027) | Evercore

Evercore’s Equity Advisory team provides independent advice to boards, management teams and shareholders on transactions and strategic decisions across the equity capital markets. Unlike an underwriting or balance-sheet-led ECM model, our advice is independent and focused on helping clients determine the right approach to accessing equity capital and navigating the public and private markets.

From your first day, you will work in small deal teams alongside senior colleagues, gaining meaningful exposure to clients and live transactions. The team advises on a broad range of situations, including private capital raises, IPOs, follow-on and secondary offerings, block trades, rights issues, equity-linked transactions and shareholder sell-downs, as well as broader capital structure and equity financing considerations. This breadth of work gives our analysts the opportunity to develop a detailed understanding of equity markets, investor dynamics and the strategic considerations that shape capital-raising decisions.

Our full-time Graduate Analyst Programme begins with five weeks of technical and soft skills training, with opportunities to build relationships with peers and develop the skills needed to contribute to the team from an early stage. This is a dedicated Equity Advisory graduate position, with analysts joining the team directly.

As an Analyst, you will be involved across both live mandates and the development of strategic advice for clients. Your work will include analysing companies, sectors and equity market conditions; assessing valuation, capital structure and financing alternatives; and preparing financial analysis and client materials. You will also support the team in evaluating transaction positioning, timing and sizing, analysing investor and trading dynamics, coordinating with clients and other advisers, and developing pitches and strategic equity advisory materials.
