WizeCamel is seeking an experienced Senior Software Backend or Full-stack Engineer to put great software into the hands of our customers. This is a critical role that will create new features to increase platform adoption and ensure the business scales smoothly and effortlessly. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining production systems that solve time-consuming and expensive problems for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Ship Great Features: Work with product leadership, customers, and other team members to design and build highly performant systems
- Stabilize and Scale: Work with live operations tools and teams to
- Design and Architecture: Collaborate with product leadership to decide on what the most important things are to build, and how to build them
Required Technical Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python and JavaScript
- At least two of:
- Strong database experience, including performance optimizations through views, stored procedures, or table redesigns
- Performant back-end deployment experience, and comfortable with PEP-8 guidelines for Python
- Excellent front-end software development skills using Angular.JS
- Deployment management experience
- Real-time product support experience, analyzing graphs, logs, and source code to address high-priority issues
Desired Technical Skills
- Enthusiastic about data-driven design
- Demonstrable experience scaling up a platform
