So, who are we? We are the Wolseley Group, a leading specialist trade merchant across the UK and Ireland. We pride ourselves in putting our people and customers at the heart of everything we do – and best of all, provide opportunities to develop skills and build careers through our award-winning Wolseley Talent Guild.

In addition to the competitive salary, there are also benefits on tap – including annual leave 24 days (increasing with length of service), a generous pension scheme (matched up to 9%), enhanced maternity & paternity cover, potential to earn bonuses, and access to a great range of online and high street discounts.

We also promote positive health and wellbeing by offering free access to healthcare, our popular YuLife app, our Cycle to Work scheme and more!

As a Workday Specialist based in Warwick you’ll be responsible for:

    • Owning the day-to-day configuration, administration and optimisation of Workday, ensuring data integrity, system effectiveness and an excellent user experience.

    • Acting as the subject matter expert for Workday, supporting HR teams with system queries, troubleshooting issues and identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.

    • Leading Workday system changes from requirements gathering and configuration through testing, training and deployment, ensuring successful delivery and user adoption.

    • Working closely with HR, IT and third-party partners to deliver Workday enhancements, releases, integrations and project activity, including support for organisational changes and acquisitions.

    • Managing data loads, reporting and business process configuration to ensure efficient and compliant HR operations.

    • Creating and maintaining system documentation, governance frameworks and audit controls to support compliance, accuracy and continuous improvement across the business.

This role is a full time, permanent position, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm

And here’s what we’d like you to have:

    • Demonstrable hands-on experience configuring, administering and supporting Workday within a HR Systems, HRIS, People Systems or Workday Specialist role.

    • Strong knowledge of Workday business processes, security, organisations, reporting and mass data loading (EIBs).

    • Experience delivering system enhancements, releases and continuous improvement initiatives within Workday.

    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.

    • Experience working with HR, IT and external vendors to deliver projects and resolve complex system issues.

    • Strong data management, reporting and systems analysis skills, with a focus on accuracy, governance and user experience.

We look forward to receiving your application!
