Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting for Accounting Manager.
- Management of all accounting entries to ensure they are prepared accurately and in line with corporate deadlines
- Management of invoices to ensure they are prepared in a timely manner and in accordance with the commercial terms of the contract
- Ensure results are accurately reported and analyzed
- Effective management of the accounting team
- Supporting the preparation and management of annual plan and quarterly reforecast in conjunction with Business Management and Finance team
- Responsibility for compliance with Financial management Framework within the individual’s sphere of control
- Focus on cash collection, optimization of DSO and minimization of unbilled items together with ensuring these balance sheet areas are appropriately reconciled, analyzed and controlled
- Liaising with external, internal parties and client auditors
- Prepare the tax filing for all direct and indirect tax
- Linkage with business manager and contracts administrator regarding any contractual aspects
- Execution of various ad hoc financial analysis and tasks as and when required
- Manage a team of accountants who perform all back - office accounting functions for clients including reconciliations, bill and expense payment, payroll, and the creation of management reports and financial statements
- Manage and perform month end close from subsidiary ledgers through general ledger and financial statement generation
- Manage and perform account reconciliations and analysis (monthly)
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting documents, payment document and all accounting related document and other financial transactions for proper accounting
- Prepare / coordinate / assist in the preparation of various reports as requested
Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- At least 10 years accounting experience
- Excellent communication, computer, organizational and multi - tasking skills.
- People supervision and management skills
- Good knowledge of both direct and indirect tax
- Ability to form and maintain strong working relationships
- Shows willingness to make improvements and shares best practice
- Good communication skills both verbal and written for both Thai and English
- Ability to discuss issues clearly and concisely at all levels within the organization
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to thrive in a fast - paced setting
- Ability to problem solve, team management, leadership
