The Opportunity
Wood is currently recruiting for a Noise and Vibration Consultant, to work in our Manchester or London office. The successful candidates will work alongside our technical specialists in the Environment and Infrastructure team, centred in Manchester and represented across the UK.

Key clients include organisations such as EDF Energy, High Speed 2, National Grid and Homes England.
The position would be based on a flexible working pattern with at least part time being office based. Our current Noise team members are based in the Manchester, Bristol and London offices, and although the position will initially be based in Manchester or London, there may be opportunity to move to one of our other established offices.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for delivering the technical aspects of a variety of noise and vibration assessments, the management of internal client relationships and the preparation of proposals and bids appropriate to your grade.
The workload is diverse, including small local level schemes through to Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects, with a significant proportion of our current work being in the clean energy arena.
Qualifications
The work undertaken by the team is extremely varied and therefore candidates with either a range of skills and experience, or particular specialisms will be considered. A flexible approach and eagerness to learn are vital for the role.
