Wood is recruiting for a Business Development Manager / Director to join our Oil &Gas and New Energies business focusing on delivering some of the most complex projects in the Canada. This opportunity is Hybrid.

The Role

Wood is currently seeking an experienced Business Development  Director based out of our Calgary, Alberta office to join our dynamic team in Western Canada. Reporting to the VP of Business Development for Canada. This position will support Wood’s global and Canadian business units across consulting, projects, and operations, driving collaboration and growth across the organization. The successful candidate will contribute to projects spanning traditional onshore oil and gas as well as key areas of focus including Energy Transition, Hydrogen, Carbon Capture, Renewables, Alternative Fuels, Licensor Integration, BioProducts, Midstream, Pipelines, Thermal Upstream, Downstream Refining and Petrochemicals, Oilsands Mining and Offshore Oil & Gas.

• Competitive salary Competitive salary with regular salary reviews to ensure we are rewarding at the right level in line with the market. Salary range for this position is CAD $190,000 - $200,000 per year. Final salary will be based on relevant and applicable experience, education, and the specific skill set and qualifications required for the role.
