Wood is seeking a Directing Technical Professional (Facilities) to join their Pipeline Services Team in Austin.
Responsibilities
- Assure Construction activities result in compliance of Engineering/Design aspects of the facility.
- Maintain communications with client, project management team and construction staff.
- Maintain communications with Client Management and Constructor organization.
- Direct the Quality Control of all construction activities.
- Maintain strong working relationships between project team, construction contractor and client project management.
- Direct all written communication between all Project Management staffing to assure all events are known by all involved.
- Assure all reporting and document controls are accurate and compliant with timely delivery of information.
- Monitor project control reporting and forecasting are consistent with construction activities.
- Assure all project activities are executed to result in a safe manner to guarantee a 100% incident free project.
- Manage all elements of the construction project from a quality standpoint
- Conduct communication with project team members to assure clear understanding of the tasks required to confirm an efficient project execution.
Skills / Qualifications
- Ten years construction and construction management experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Good ability in oral and written communication skills.
