Wood is currently looking for Document Controller on contract basis.
Job Description:
Initiate/Support new EDMS set-up in the project
Input/update of Bulk load deliverable list from disciplines for identified WBS in the project, Personal Index, Distribution Matrix, Authorized Engineer list etc. in the EDMS.
Requesting EDMS database access to project team including clients.
Maintain Deliverable metadata quality in the EDMS which includes Document Numbering (including Client number if applicable), Revisions etc.
Handling Material Requisitions and Sub-Con-Requisition in EDMS with Tag records.
Process incoming and outgoing all project phase deliverables in the EDMS and distribute in accordance with the approved Document Distribution Matrix (DDM) via DocStore.
Maintain track of Client commenting in EDMS and circulating process with engineers.
Generates standard reports such as Overdue reports, Document / Drawing indexes, Supplier Document indexes, Weekly status reports from the EDMS during project life cycle.
Provide Weekly update of Deliverables Index with latest status (latest revision and last revision issued status).
Assists Project Engineering Co-Ordinator in compilation of the final design package handover to Client as per agreed format towards the Project phase Completion.
Scanning, filing and maintenance of hard copy documentation in central file.
Maintain co-ordination with all Discipline leads including Engineering Co-Ordinator for deliverables quality issue.
