Wood has an opportunity for a Document Controller to join our team in Singapore on an initial 6-month contract to be responsible for collection, distribution, retention and archiving of documents through document management systems and work processes.
In this role you will ensure that all technical documentation associated with the assigned project scope is registered, filed, transmitted, and archived in compliance with document management procedures.

Responsibilities
- Manage the registration, processing, distribution and transmission of project, vendor and client documentation.
- Maintain document control systems (EDMS), ensuring all records are accurately filed, tracked and easily retrievable.
- Perform quality and compliance checks to ensure documentation meets company, client and regulatory requirements.
- Manage document archiving, retention, retrieval and disposal for both electronic and hard copy records.
- Coordinate document reviews, monitor approval workflows and provide reporting on document status and overdue actions.
- Support project teams with document management queries, document numbering, and document control procedures.
- Contribute to project closeout activities, including final dossiers, as-built documentation, filing systems and records management.
Qualifications
- Minimum ISCED Level 3 (Secondary education)
Knowledge, skills, and experience:
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Knowledge of SharePoint/Documentum/ProjectWise or similar electronic document management system
- Knowledge of Adobe
- Communication skills - both written and verbal
- Skills in word processing, spreadsheets, database applications and electronic data management system

- Excellent organisational skills and a logical and ordered approach
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong team player
- Ability to work in a high - pressure environment, pay strict attention to detail and ensure the accuracy of the outputs
