Within the UK Wood has one of the largest biodiversity, EIA and planning practices. Our UK biodiversity team is comprised of around 70 diverse and passionate specialists who take pride in delivering a wide range of high-quality ecological services on complex projects across a diverse range of sectors in UK and international markets, including low carbon and hydrogen, transport, renewables, nuclear, power, waste, minerals and property.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Associate Director/Technical Director to join our existing biodiversity team.
This is a post of strategic significance to our team as we expand our project portfolio and our ambitious growth objectives. The role represents an exciting opportunity to manage and deliver biodiversity inputs into our expansive range of NSIP projects and to be part of the successful growth agenda, by working as a team to secure new interesting and challenging projects. We pride ourselves in operating at the leading edge of professional practice, with a reputation for innovation and technical excellence.
Open to applications nationwide, we are looking for an ambitious, driven and experienced practitioner who is focussed on finding solutions and who is passionate about delivering technical excellence. We are seeking a candidate who can provide clear and innovative ecology and/or ornithology advice and who is capable of leading on the biodiversity elements of major development projects, during both project delivery and business development phases.
