Overview / Responsibilities
- Report to the Section Manager – Estimating, the main function of the role is to support the preparation of proposal and capital project estimates
- Analyze the Invitation to Bid requirements and project documentation to develop estimates
- Establish the commercial basis for the estimates
- Coordinate and collate inputs from other disciplines for estimates
- Support in risk and contingencies analysis, benchmarking analysis, cash flow analysis and any other activities require by the Manager
Skills / Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in engineering is preferable. However, diploma graduate in engineering can apply
- At least 5 years working experience in engineering field of relevant industries. At least 2 to 3 years of experience in estimating role
- Analytical and have appreciation and interest in estimating work
- Able to plan, prepare, coordinate and to consolidate all estimating activities
- Willing to travel within Asia Pacific Region to support affiliate offices cost estimate
- Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful and pro-active
- Possess good interpersonal skills with sound written and oral communication skills
- Flexible approach and able to work under pressure with a can-do attitude and a desire to win
- Ability to promote an open and informal communication environment that aims at growing mutual trust and teamwork
