Overview / Responsibilities
Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS JSC) is currently looking for a HES Administrator to join our team in Tengiz (for KZ passport holders).
Responsibilities:
- Administrate support for office and site safety activities for the project/client/customer
- Support with Safety Task Planning with project scope of work
- Support HES manager in daily management task and duties
- Conduct safety meetings, orientations along with training to assure employees understand the hazards associated with scope of work
- Administrate Emergency Response system
- Maintain HSE records and associated documentation
- Responsible for safety administration, risk management and controlling issues that may impact project safety
- Work closely with site HES teams to support them with corporate framework
- Maintain communications with Onshore HES with project status/issues
- Assist in Incident Investigations & Root Cause Analysis
- Ensure safe work procedures are being followed in respect to OSHA and Client/Company Policy along with applicable regulatory and laws in Kazakhstan
- Assist in day-to-day safety matters on the project which may include medical and security issues
- Ensure all reporting is done in a timely response
- Perform other duties and task as requested in regard to supporting the project
- Complete weekly reporting
- Experienced with spreadsheets and standard templates
- Able to work as a member of a team
- Organisational ability
- Knowledge of oil and gas industry practices
- Good knowledge of ROK legislation in respect to HSE
- A strong commitment to high quality customer service and commitment to continuous improvement
- Knowledge HES management system
- Good analytical and reporting skills
- Candidates must have in depth knowledge of Kazakhstan Safety Regulations along with knowledge of Kazakhstan Guidelines
- Candidates must be able to provide current certifications and proof of training
- Candidate must have strong knowledge of safety protocols for general industry and new construction projects
- Primary functions will include reporting, communications and data recording
Skills / Qualifications
High education
Good written and communication skills in Kazakh/Russian/English languages
Knowledge of BBS/IIF/HAZID
Advanced Microsoft Office User (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Presentation skills, Safety instructor experience would be an advantage
Minimum 3 years' experience in HES roles
Proactive and motivated
Good communication skills
