Overview / Responsibilities
Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS JSC) is currently recruiting for an Industrial Relations Coordinator to join our team in Tengiz (for KZ passport holders).
Responsibilities
- Immediately within the one hour advise (written, verbally) Employer and Client, by whatever means available, of any form of IR action occurring within the Area of Operations
- Keep detailed records of all disciplinary, grievance in connection with the performance of Work at Site area
- Follow up monthly meeting with employees at Site to discuss any shared existing and potential IR problems and their possible solutions, exchange ideas, and where necessary, develop a common strategy to solve any identified or potential IR problems within the Area of Operations, complete minutes of meetings
- Attendance at IRG meetings organized by Client on behalf of Employer
- Follow up on boarding induction for new hire and camp induction that includes and addresses the following:
- Camp rules and regulations
- Code of conduct
- Camp grievance procedure
- Complaints system for food, dining, housekeeping, and maintenance
- Cultural awareness
- Health, safety, and security
- Interface with Employee’s representative and HR about any kind of potential IR problems
- Perform monthly audits and inspections of the office, accommodation facilities at Site area
- Manage employee discipline with Project management support
- Complete manpower monthly reports required by Client and Employer
- Follow up communications Flowchart agreed with Client
- Complete necessary forms required by Client in case of incident “Industrial Relations Incident Report Form”
Skills / Qualifications
- High education
- At least 5 years' of experience in HR/IR
- Good spoken & written English
- Excellent organisational, communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative

- Company’s Zero Tolerance Policy for Violence
- Grievance procedure
- Disciplinary code and procedure
- Demobilization procedure
- Strike handling procedure
- Camp management plan
- Company’s internal labour rules
- Policy about rotational work
- Business trip procedure
- Regulations on Collection, Processing and Protection of the Employees' Personal Data
