Wood's Calgary office is recruiting for an Intermediate Water Resources Engineer to join our team.
As part of the Water Resources team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the design of the hydraulic structures (i.e., open channels, culverts, weirs and spillways) related to mine water management and for other areas of analysis include erosion and sediment control, water balance, dam breach assessments, hydrologic and hydraulic modelling and environmental impact studies. Suitable candidates willing to acquire training in these areas will also be considered.
Every member or our team is expected to take an active role in representing Wood. You will therefore be expected to build business relationships with clients and partnerships with in-house clients. You will also have the opportunity of working with other offices across Canada on a project basis.
