    Job description

    Overview / Responsibilities

    OBJECTIVE

    Plans, implements and reports both internal and external audits in accordance with agreed Wood processes and audit schedule commitments as directed by their line manager. Manages and mentors quality auditors.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Works with the quality manager to establish and communicate required audit schedules, ensuring clear justification for each audit based on risk and other contributing factors • Prepares for and leads audits and assurance reviews in line with agreed processes and protocols. • Ensures Wood auditing protocols are followed by their team. • Prepares audit findings, recommendations and audit reports in a timely manner for agreement with the auditee • Manages the tracking of audit findings in the appropriate NCR and corrective action tracking systems/registers • Provides independent verification that actions taken to close actions raised from auditing activities are effective and sustainable • Provides information and undertakes analysis of audit results, for management reporting and reviews • Provides support during extrinsic management system certification audits

    Works on continuous improvement process.

    Support to projects execution as required.

    Coordinating the APAC regional QA works

    WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

    Internal: Effective 2-way communicator, comfortable dealing with functional peers and feeding back to senior management on the results of audits External: comfortable in dealing with suppliers/vendors including third party certification providers; able to build exemplary working relationship with suppliers/vendors and other Stakeholders, including clients.

    Skills / Qualifications

    Qualifications: • Lead Auditor qualification by recognised industry body (essential) • Diploma or local equivalent in quality or related discipline (desirable) Knowledge, skills and experience: • 8 + years relevant experience (Preferably in the associated industry). • Comprehensive understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 19011 and Wood auditing protocols • Advanced knowledge and application of auditing practices • Proficient in the analysis of processes and data • Proficient in Microsoft Office • High level of communication skills in both written and spoken format Personal attributes: • Good planner and organiser • Team worker • Attention to detail • Integrity and trustworthy • Persistent and inquisitive in the pursuit in information and facts
