    Job description

    Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Control Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.

    • Understand the project requirements and cater to reporting requirements.
    • Prepare reports covering planning, scheduling & monitoring aspects and cost control.
    • Define and agree the Planning requirements and reporting calendar with the client.
    • Define and agree the Cost engineering requirements and reporting calendar with the client.
    • Prepare activity plans to accomplish all work required by the procedures.
    • Assist in preparation of Project monthly, weekly reports and other reports.
    • Able to analyse the reports and recommend mitigation actions.
    • Commit to and promote organization’s values and ensure the realization of company and project health, safety, environmental, quality and ethics, systems, policies and procedures

    Skills / Qualifications

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2 - 5 years’ experience in oil & gas projects
    • Must have an Engineering degree.
    • Good knowledge in MS Excel and other MS office packages. Experience in the use of Primavera Project Planner.
    • Good communication and reporting skills
    • Knowledge of Project activities covering Engineering, Procurement and Construction.
