Wood’s Construction and Remediation (CAR) Business is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to serve as a strategic business partner working closely with the Business Unit President and the management team. This role will support the CAR (Remediation) business, with 300 employees in addition to part of the West US business with 3-400 employees. This position reports to the VP Human Resources for the Americas.
Our successful candidate will be a true business partner to the leadership team for the CAR business; understanding their people, organization, business needs, vision and challenges. You will develop and implement strategies for performance management, employee training and development, recognition and reward, succession of talent, employee engagement and onboarding, partnering with recruitment and the safety teams, and global mobility support. This position has one direct report who is a Mobilization Lead.
With strong experience as an HR Business Partner, you excel in strategic thinking in talent, performance management and change, and drawing upon shared service support to deliver positive outcomes. Acting as an employee champion and change agent, you will aspire to be part of a team delivering strong results. You will have effective communication skills, be engaging, demonstrate resilience and open to using innovative ideas and an agile approach to deliver the best possible outcomes.
