    Job description

    Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently recruiting for an System Analyst with previous experience of working in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.

    The position is office based in Equatorial Guinea, West Africa and the working hours will be 8 hours per day / 6 days per week Mon - Sat.

    * Please note this position is only open to Equatorial Guinea nationals.

    The main purpose of the role is to assist with day to day operations of the IT systems, supporting all divisions and sites both onshore and offshore.

    Job Function:

    • Assist deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting core business applications.
    • Install and configure new software and hardware components.
    • Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
    • Provide technical support across the company.
    • Repair and replacing equipment as necessary.
    • Diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
    • Regularly evaluate Trident IT systems to ensure they meet the necessary demands.
    • Resolve all issues co-workers have with their IT systems and software.
    • Educate co-workers about IT security and best practices.
    • Support the day-to-day operations of Trident computer network.
    • Will be required to work one weekend a month.

    Skills / Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High school diploma (Degree in computer science or related field is preferable)

    Job-Specific Skills:

    • Working knowledge of Oil and Gas specific software required.
    • Knowledge with:
      • Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop operating systems
      • SCCM
      • Microsoft (AD, Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
      • Meraki products
      • Backup technologies
      • VMware
      • Cloud technologies
      • Dell and Lenovo hardware
    • Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems.

    Personal Attributes:

    • Fluent in spoken and written English language
    • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
    • Good communication ability, both written and verbal
    • Demonstrates initiative and anticipates needs
    • Willingness to undertake any other tasks as requested
