Wood is currently looking (EOI) for Training and Competency Specialist candidates for a potential upcoming role.
The Technical Comptence Specialist will be responsible for:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Assure and support competency delivery within projects• Carry out assessment and verification of portfolios• Monitoring standards to ensure compliance with National, Client and Corporate standards• Advise sites on competence and training issues ensuring consistency of approach• Carry out Professional Competence Discussions• Review and update Competence portfolios to ensure validity of plant and equipment• Liaise and support sites with personnel development matters• Assist with carrying out onshore/offshore competence assessments• Provide general advice and support as part of a multi-disciplinary team
