We are hiring a marketing associate to join our team. The marketing associate will be responsible for supporting long-term strategies and managing day-to-day projects for Mariner’s investment banking division. This is a chance to join a growing division with the opportunity for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the marketing lead on ideas to help the firm reach strategic goals and to ensure projects are on target
- Project contact for internal clients, providing detail-oriented and organized management for specific projects and assignments
- Assist in prioritizing projects and setting expectations with internal stakeholders
- Ensure projects are completed on time and to goal or strategy
- Implement strategies and assist in tactical executions as well as monitoring of marketing campaigns
- Interact with external vendors as needed
to support project needs - Manage and organize project flow
- Prioritize multiple projects against deadlines
- Coordinate post-deal creative assets
- Manage Social Media postings, with a focus on LinkedIn
- Create initial copy for digital ads, email marketing campaigns for new business, website copy
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing strategies
- Ability to write copy within organizational tone and

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required; OR equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the duties of the job
- 3-5 years experience in the marketing field
- Problem solving and time-management skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and in person)
- Ability to multitask while delivering consistent results amid competing demands
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva and Outlook
