Job Description: As a Maintenance Team Member at Worcester Communities, you will be an integral part of our mission to ensure our properties are safe, well-maintained, and a great place for residents to call home. Your role is critical in maintaining and enhancing the physical integrity of our communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC system maintenance.
- Repairs: Address repair requests promptly and efficiently, ensuring all maintenance issues are resolved to residents' satisfaction.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct preventative maintenance on a regular schedule to prevent issues before they occur.
- Groundskeeping: Maintain the appearance of the community by landscaping, snow removal, and exterior cleaning.
- Safety: Ensure that all safety regulations and standards are met and that the community is a safe environment for residents.
- Inventory Management: Keep track of maintenance supplies and equipment, and report when items need to be replenished.
- Emergency Response: Be available for on-call emergency maintenance duties on a rotational basis.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous maintenance or repair experience is required.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in the field.
- EPA Type II Certification is a plus
- Certified Pool Operator License
