Assistant Professor

POSITION
The College of Education and the Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology, and
Research seeks a full-time, 9-month, tenure- track faculty member for the Counseling Psychology program, beginning August 17, 2026. (Code 10535) The Counseling Psychology program is
APA-accredited and emphasizes the development of professional competencies, a balanced scientist-practitioner training model, and the preparation of graduates for a wide variety of clinical and academic settings. The Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology, and Research and the College of Education are not currently offering any sponsorships for this position.

SETTING

SALARY & BEGINNING DATE
Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications. The University offers an excellent benefits package including healthcare and retirement. The position (code 10535) is a nine-month tenure track appointment with the possibility of summer teaching. The anticipated date of appointment is August 17, 2026.
